1. Overview & Commitment to Privacy

At Gdoop, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how Gdoop collects, uses, protects, and handles information when you create notes, share links, upload attachments, or register for accounts across our platform.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with Gdoop, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Email address, username, password hashes, and profile settings when you register or sign in.
  • User Content: Text notes, redirect links, attached images, audio, video files, and custom share codes you submit.
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and timestamp logs necessary for server operation and security.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected data solely to deliver and improve Gdoop services, including:

  • Generating unique Gdoop share codes and shareable open links (/oo/code);
  • Processing password authentication for protected notes;
  • Generating QR codes for note access;
  • Managing Gdoop PRO licenses and account features.

4. Data Retention & Automatic Purging

Gdoop features automated data lifecycle management. Notes configured with Disappearing Mode (e.g. 3 Days, 7 Days, 30 Days) are automatically and permanently deleted from our primary storage upon reaching their expiration time.

5. Security & Password Protection

We employ administrative and technical security measures to protect your data. Notes protected with a password require verification before content or attachments are served. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure.

6. Cookies & Local Sessions

Gdoop utilizes essential session cookies and local storage tokens to maintain authenticated states and optimize application load times. We do not sell user data to third parties.
